Parent Participation
Nippers is a voluntary organization and run by parents
There is a roster system for the parents of each age group to help with the Beach Set-Up, BBQ and Beach Pack –Up. Please see your child’s Age Group Leader to put your name down for helping out on your rostered Sunday. Otherwise, he or she might have to find you. To make our Sunday’s successful, we need and encourage ALL parents to lend a hand where possible. As they saying goes, many hands make light work!
There will be reminders via Team App so that you can plan ahead. Your cooperation and participation in this excellent fundraising opportunity is appreciated.
Beach Set-Up: 7am – 7.30am – requires minimum of 4 helper.
Putting up tents, setting up BBQ, beach flags, sprints area and Age Group signs.
BBQ: 7am – 9.30am – requires minimum of 4 helpers
9.30am – 11.30am – requires minimum of 4 helpers
Cutting rolls, helping with BBQ and serving
Beach Pack-Up: 10.30am – 11.00am – requires minimum of 4 helpers
Ensure club boards are washed and put away, beach flags, age group boxes etc. put away. Tents pulled down, BBQ and tables put away.
If there are insufficient helpers turn up for the age group (on their rostered Sunday) there will be NO Nipper Activities for that age group on that day.
